Experience

Hi, everyone! My name is Diana. I’m an English teacher. I hold a Master’s degree in English teaching, with a minor in German, I’m also a CELTA certified teacher, with more than 9 years of experience. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve been tutoring students of all ages and levels. I taught English at the University level for more than 5 years, I later worked at one of the language schools in London and ended up doing my PhD in Applied Linguistics at the University of Barcelona. I'm now specializing in exam preparation, specifically in GMAT (verbal part), working for one of the top-rating exam preparation centers in Barcelona. I'll teach you techniques, strategies and time management skills to handle GMAT, one of the most difficult exams, incorporating knowledge of English, analytical and critical reasoning skills. In Sentence Correction area we'll sort out all the possible areas of grammar issues appearing at the exam and learn how to make fast choices that'll save you time for Critical Reasoning. In CR we'll have a look at the most common question types and learn how to approach them. In Reading Comprehension we'll study how to read texts analytically and find conclusions and evidence. GMAT is a big challenge but if the right methodology applied, it becomes manageable. I'll show you how!
