I am a humanities teacher from England, with three years teaching experience and many more tutoring. I hold a BA in Politics, Philosophy and History (1st class honors) and an MA in Political Ecology, Degrowth and Environmental Justice. I specialise in undergraduate political sciences but can also teach high-school level. Having worked in an alternative school, my approach is very much based on the understanding and ways of learning of each student. Rather than imposing a specific method on the student I try and understand how they work, how they understand the subject and what the university or school requires of them, and help them improve in the areas needed. Hobbies
Hobbies: I play badminton on a regular basis and am an avid table tennis player. I am a photographer and filmmaker in my spare time. I also enjoy creative manual arts such as book-binding and ceramics. Getting out into nature is important for me, going for a hike in the mountains, camping by a lake.. I also enjoy sailing, and play the guitar and saxophone. Interests: Many! Currently I am very intrested in climate change and the environment, analysing different sustainable ways of living. I also have a keen interest in Colombian and Indian history, as well as the history and philosophy of science.
